Step #2 – Identify your profitable niche market – This might seem counter intuitive to you but, don’t put the cart before the horse – so to speak. Unless you’ve got an offline organization or service that you are building an on-line presence for…best not to start by selecting your product 1st.
Uncover a market with low competition, high desire for information and a willingness to spend money even in the down economy. An example might be: pet owners. People love and care for their pets and are commonly willing to purchase details, items and services for them even in a down current market.
Simple…right? Well, yes and no you have to know where to go to find that great information and choose the niche that is also best suited to your passions, hobbies or interests.
As breifly discussed in step one you’ve got to be in the right mindset to really be successful online and much of that has to do with choosing to start an internet business in an area that truly appeals to you or that you have a great deal of knowledge about.
With possible business ideas in mind head on over to Amazon.com and check out their selection of products or books related to your area of interest. What kind of products are they selling? What are the book titles? Chances are those ALL solve problems for people in that profitable niche market!
This is a great way to start the creative juices flowing. Starting an internet business does require work and they say that if you do what you enjoy…it never seems like work so, best to identify an area of strong interest and then identify the profitable niche market to go after.
